Couch Potato

Remember when I told you about Mellow's new mixtape Couch Potato?
He was teasing us for a little while, dropping dope songs here and there like "I Wanna Be" and "FLEX!" (which are two great songs I must add)
But anyways, Couch Potato dropped earlier and I'm not even mad that I had to wait so long to download it because its definitly worth the wait. With features from Johnny Rockz, OGCase &Dramatic this tape is something you can turn on and straight vibe to. Its doper than dope.
Download it and I double pinky promise you that you will NOT be disappointed.

Thank You

I just realized that this is our 100th post on the site.
That seems like a huge number forreal. &even though I've had moments here and there where I wouldn't post for a few days, or even weeks you all still take the time out to check out the site and listen to the music.

I appreciate every single one of you.
Whether you're on here for a minute or five minutes I appreciate you so much.
The goal of this site is to make the underdogs known, to show that Cleveland breeds some of the most talent people ever. Of course we have Kid Cudi, Chip tha Ripper, MGK, etc but there is so much more talent hidden in Cleveland. I know alot of people that work hard as hell to do what they love the most. &the outcome is amazing. I'm letting you all know that respect the hell out of your hustle.

I've been looking for more than just rappers/ singers to feature on the site, so if you know of any clothing lines, dancers, producers, jewelry makers, ANYTHING &ANYONE that is doing something major with a talent they have. Let me know I would love to feature you (or them) on here and let everyone who comes to this site know about you.

If you have tweeted a link to a post, thank you.
If you've tweeted a link to the site, thank you.
If you have visited the site at least once, thank you.
If you've told a friend about the site, thank you.
If you have referred an artist to us, thank you.
If you're hustling right now and doing what you love, thank you.
I can't say it enough, thank you all so much!

Keep your eyes open. Dont fall asleep just yet, because we aren't even close to being done ^_^

If you'd like to talk about being featured on the site, or if you have any idea you'd like to share email me at VivaciousSociety@gmail.com

Speaking of Varsity
I recently came across this dude, T'Jai Crooks. His flow is fantastic.
I don't know a lot about him beside the fact that he's 16, and making some good ass music.
For now I'll give you all his DeadStock &Mercy Freestyle

You might remember this dude from the Native Posse post we did back in May last year.
Phil Diamonds. He's a dope artist forreal, and he recently dropped a new joint "Rugby"
I've heard two different versions and they're both ear candy. There's the original (obviously) by Jahmez Hampton and then there's a "Chopped &slopped" version.  If you like the chopped up, slow, chill type of music you're going to love this version of the song.
Oh by the way, Phil Diamonds will be dropping his mixtape GoldMedalClub on June 9th. Keep your eyes peeled cause we're going to make sure we get that on here.

Lorine Chia

Yesterday Lorine Chia dropped her first video for her song "Babbling Idiots"
This is such a great song and the way the video is put together makes you fall in love with it even more.
Lorine's soulful voice instantly steals your attention, the images used make it that much better.
Ontop of her first video, her website went live yesterday as well! Lorine is making huge moves and I can't wait to see her blow up because I have a feeling its coming soon.

One more thing, today Lorine has been pushing the hell out of her music to Pharrell.
So I was thinking, if you have a twitter, help her out. @Pharrell  and let him know about Lorine Chia. Drop a link to her website, or soundcloud, or even your favorite song by her, whatever it is push her on him!

No okay seriously. You all know I try my best to keep you all up to date with the Dope Kulture crew.
D.Re.Mi, dropped a new video a little while ago, aka like an hour ago, for his song TheNorthFace off of GoldFangz. This is seriously one of my favorite songs off of the mixtape I'm so glad he picked this one.
So far I've seen nothing but positive feedback. No lies, it's hot.
Watch the video. Learn about the Harlem shaking ghost. Listen to a great song.
&Last but not least, download GoldFangz if you haven't yet because its yet another great project by a member of DK.

FreshMeat

Moe Franchise.
When I first heard his song "The Next Day", my mind was blown twice. Sounding like a mixture between Shawn Chrystopher and another rapper that I can't quite put my finger on he can throw together some dope shit. If you just listen to the way he presents his lyrics its enough to keep you interested in him.
He's been on a song (maybe more than just one) with Fly Ellz and just like when he's on his own tracks he kill it. This dude has some talent for real.
After doing a little research I heard he's going to be dropping a new mixtape June 1st, keep your eyes open, we might just get that on here once it's dropped. Until then, enjoy Cleveland.

Monthly Weirdo

I was going to start this post talking about how I have tons of music and some of it is people being slept on, but then I'd basically be wasting your time right? Exactly.
So, instead of going into insane detail about this I'm going to cut it somewhat short.
Every month, we're going to have a weirdo featured, not exactly someone that is weird, but someone that is an outsider. An artist that isn't from Cleveland. Because this site is mostly Clevelanders, I decided to mix it up a little bit. I'll try to get a weirdo from different states and keep you guys up on the stuff that's on the low

Weirdo of the month; Robb Bank$

Some of you may have already heard about this dude. Some may have not, either way it goes, he's dope as hell. He's an upcoming rapper from South Florida with an ill ass flow. People are quick to compare him to A$AP Rocky, which honestly is something that I can't seem to understand. Only because his flow compared to A$AP's are two completely different things. Maybe its the gold teeth.
Anyways, he doesn't rep that "trill" life he's more 'bout that savage life. A while ago he released a 14-track mixtape "Calanders" , which was originally supposed to be an EP, this mixtape is something that I seriously listen to every day. If I don't listen to the whole thing I listen to 4 or 5 of the songs off of it. He also worked with Matt Lansky to put together the amazing Tuesday Thru Sunday - "Everyday Except Monday" EP
Whether you like it or not, this dude is amazing. Download Calanders &Everyday Except Monday I promise that you will not be disappointed in what you hear.
Don't trust me? I'll leave you with "Look Like Basquiat" and "Counting".
I bet you will believe me after that.

My Girl

A while ago we had a fresh meat feature from one of the youngest artists featured on this site, Dre Mickel .
He's still been working hard making some good good music.
&A few months ago he released a song with another Cleveland artist KRYMEZ
All of his songs are honestly amazing, he's another artist that I could see doing big things.
Just to keep you all up on everything I'm gonna leave you with the song.

The Cleveland Project

"@Impact_Templars #TheClevelandProject is OUR chance to show EVERYONE who doesnt support, from execs to djs to fans that there is more talent in our city than MGK & Ray Jr! Support Us!"

Have you heard the buzz? No?
Get on twitter and look up #TheClevelandProject

I've actually seen people talking about it on twitter before but I thought it was just something small. But, after watching the video and learning more about it, this is going to be something HUGE.
It's a chance for all the underdogs, underrateds, unknowns, grindhards to show what Cleveland is really made of, and to show that Cleveland can come together and do something magnificent.
A Clevelander named Joi recently decided to start a movement.
A movement where all Cleveland artists get together, put their minds together and make one big, long, dope mixtape and showcase. They'll be writing original songs, putting the mixtape together. She plans on getting togeter singers, dancers, photographers, videographers, rappers, artists, producers, writers, poets, etc etc to make this something amazing. They've already gotten a bunch of submissions for the project which is awesome. Watch the video below to find out more about this movement.

Randi Renee

With a voice as beautiful as Randi Renee's you could steal anyone's heart.
I've had her on a list to listen to her and get her on the site, and I'm not even going to lie I'm kind of mad that it took me until now to get to her. She has such an amazing, crisp, memorable, somewhat angelic voice which is very hard to come by anymore. I got the chance to download her debut mixtape titled " Under Construction " and this is definitely something that you can throw on to slow it down one t. Its an amazing mixtape that is well put together, you can tell that she put her all into it. Keep an eye on here cause she's one that is going to blow up big time.

Listen to this once and I dare you to tell me you're not digging it,
